The dive crews depart the island three times a day to visit one of the 30 dive sites that are within minutes of the lodge. The 25ft skiffs carry only 10 guest each to ensure an enjoyable dive experience. Besides being able to relax on the island between dives, the dive crew will take care of all your equipment between each dive. Your merely just have to show up at the dock and step aboard.

Schedule:
The first dive will take place shortly after breakfast. The second dive will follow before lunch. Then take a nap relax on the beach and do your third dive mid-afternoon. Generally scheduled for Tuesdays is a day trip to the Blue Hole on the 48' custom dive boat. This unique destination is located at Lighthouse Atoll and is Belize's most recognized dive site. On this trip, you will also dive Half moon Caye Wall, enjoy a picnic lunch and visit Red footed Booby Bird sanctuary. Your last dive will be at Long Caye Wall.

Sites:
The lodge is situated on the southern end of Turneffe Atoll within 15 minutes of over 30 recognized diving sites including the The Elbow, unquestionably the best dive site in the Western Caribbean. Located on the extreme southern tip of the atoll, this site is swept by ocean currents, which brings in large schools of groupers, jacks, permits and snappers. As you drift along the pinnacles and sand shoots, you will encounter hawksbill and loggerhead turtles, eagle rays and even hammerhead sharks.

The Blue Hole, Belize's most recognized dive site, is part of the week long dive package. This is one of the most unique dives you will ever do. You descend into an ancient cavern and explore stalactite formations as you encounter the many reef shark that lives in the site. A scuba diving paradise indeed.

At Gail's Point you will enjoy the sheer drop-off along the barrier reef of the Atoll. Venture out into the blue where you'll meet resident eagle rays then drift back over the plateau and spot the elusive white-spotted Toadfish, a native fish of Belize.
